The New York Medical College Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences
Graduate Student Research Forum...
The Graduate Student Research Forum is an annual, daylong event sponsored by the Graduate Student Association. The Forum involves oral and poster presentations of student-conducted research, which provides students with an opportunity to present their research to colleagues, faculty and staff of New York Medical College, and the scientific community in the tri-state area. Funds needed to support this event come in part from local corporations. This event has, over the years, greatly increased the visibility and prestige of the Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences’ graduate students within the College. The 20th Annual Graduate Student Research Forum was held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. The forum keynote speaker was Irving H. Zucker, Ph.D. '72, Professor and Chair, Department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology, University of Nebraska Medical Center.
