The Center for Medical Outcomes Research was established to conduct research that informs policy and operations about health care. It operates in close collaboration with the academic departments of the School of Health Sciences and Practice, the School of Medicine and the Health Sciences Library, as well as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), private foundations, and other national and regional organizations.
