Doctor of Physical Therapy - Recent Student Outcomes

 

In accordance with a policy stipulated by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), the outcomes for the past three years of graduates of the Department of Physical Therapy at New York Medical College (2010-2012) are presented below.

3-Year Average Graduation Rate: 94.5%
The percentage of students who completed the program in 100-150% of the expected program time.

3-Year Average National Licensure Examination Ultimate Passing Rate: 92.2%
The percentage of graduates who passed the National Licensure Examination, regardless of the number of times the exam was taken.

3-Year Average National Licensure Examination First-Time Passing Rate: 88.0%
The percentage of graduates who passed the National Licensure Examination on their first attempt.

3-Year Average Employment Rate: 100%
The percentage of graduates who, to the best of our knowledge, were employed within 6 months of passing the National Licensure Examination.
