On behalf of the New York Medical College Chapter of the American Medical Student Association, AMSA, we would like to welcome you to our AMSA Residency Fair web site. This year's event will be held on Saturday, March 2. 2002 and promises to be bigger and better then previous years. This is an exciting year for us here at New York Medical College. Not only do we have our first ever Annual Residency Fair web site but we also can celebrate the completion of our new Medical Education Center.
The NYMC chapter of AMSA has been and will continue to be very active this school year. The money raised through the residency fair will benefit not only the students but the greater metropolitan NYC community. Among our many programs, our chapter helps feed and clothe the homeless via the Midnight Run program. We also provide a healing touch and laughter in the lives of terminally ill children through various parties and volunteer opportunities. Speakers and planned activities will help us explore ways to maintain spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health while in school in our upcoming Wellness Week. Finally, we will send representatives to the AMSA national convention in Houston, TX to learn about immigrant health and access barriers to the health care system.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. If you have any questions or require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We look forward to seeing you at the Annual Residency Fair!
