MICHAEL S. GOLIGORSKY, MD, PHD
Professor of Medicine
In recognition of his contributions to the study of endothelial cell dysfunction and its role in the deterioration of renal function in disease states. His research provides insight into the biochemical, molecular and cellular features of competent and incompetent progenitor cells and the role they play, respectively, in regeneration of renal structures and progression of kidney disease.
His research award lecture is entitled:
