ATTORNEY RAYMOND M. PLANELL IS NEW TRUSTEE AT NEW YORK MEDICAL COLLEGE

VALHALLA, N.Y., January 5, 2004 – Raymond M. Planell, Esq. has been elected to the Board of Trustees of New York Medical College. He is a partner at the law offices of Bleakley Platt & Schmidt, LLP in White Plains, N.Y.

Mr. Planell concentrates his practice in the areas of trusts, estates, estate planning and taxation. He is a member and former director of the Estate Planning Council of Westchester and the Tax Section of the Westchester County Bar Association. A former adjunct professor at Pace University and a frequent lecturer at bar associations, business groups and charitable organizations, he serves as a member of several boards including St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children, the Westchester Community Foundation, the Msgr. John J. Foley Scholarship Trust Fund and the Board of Directors of Kensico Cemetery.

Mr. Planell, a resident of Yonkers, N.Y., received a bachelor of arts degree and juris doctor degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s of law in taxation degree from New York University. He is a member of the Westchester County and New York State Bar associations.
