NEW YORK MEDICAL COLLEGE TO HOST SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION GALA
October 15, 2009— New York Medical College will formally launch a celebration of its 150-year anniversary with a black-tie gala to be held Saturday night at Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle, N.Y. The evening will begin with cocktails at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner and dancing at 8 p.m.
This special event will commemorate 150 years of excellence and innovation in education, research and service that began with its founding in 1860 by William Cullen Bryant, the noted poet, abolitionist and editor of the Evening Post.
Among the guests expected to join in this historic celebration are past and present trustees, faculty, administration, staff, alumni, students and many prominent residents and politicians of Westchester County and the greater New York metropolitan area.
