Eligible candidates include graduates of LCME accredited medical schools as well as graduates of medical schools outside the U.S. & Canada who hold valid certificates from the ECFMG or have completed a Fifth Pathway program provided by an LCME-accredited medical school. The selection criteria for first year Ob/Gyn residents is based on many factors and is determined on an individual basis however all applications must contain the full: Completed ERAS application including: 1. Medical school transcript (< 5 years from date of application) 2. 3 letters of recommendation (one of which must be from the Chair of the Department of Ob/Gyn 3. Deans letter 4. USMLE scores Part 1, II CK, II CS (if available) 5. Personal statement *In addition IMGs must submit:* 1. Current ECFMG certification 2. Proof of U.S. citizenship or Green Card. We cannot sponsor visas at this time. 3. The deadline for receipt of all completed applications is 12/31/2010 There is also a requirement that a resident accepted into our program MUST pass USMLE Step 3 by November 15th of the PGY 1 year or his/her contract will not be renewed. Also note, that if you are accepted into our residency program, the pre-employment screening will include drug testing. Candidates may apply only through the ERAS/NRMP process. Of the hundreds of applications received 50 candidates are invited for interviews, usually scheduled on Fridays in November, December and January. Notifications of interview will be given by email.
