Iota Chapter of New York Medical College
The Pharos is a quarterly journal published by the National AOA. It contains a wide spectrum of non-technical articles with relevance to medicine. All members receive a complimentary subscription of The Pharos. Manuscripts explore the practical, social, historical, ethical or philosophical aspects of medicine; poetry is also published. The journal's letters column provides an opportunity for expression of opposing views or a response to opinions set forth in previous issues. In addition, each issue includes reviews of books and films of interest to the medical community.Manuscripts being prepared for The Pharos should be typed double-spaced, submitted in triplicate, and conform to the format outlined in the Notice to Contributors.
