Vice President of Operations
Michael Rogovin, J.D., is the Vice President of Operations serving as the chief administrative services officer for the College responsible for providing leadership for NYMC’s human resources, purchasing, environmental health and safety, emergency preparedness, campus security, facilities operations, planning, and development (including space planning and the instrument and design shop) and auxiliary services (including food services and the campus store).
Mr. Rogovin’s experience includes working at the City University of New York (CUNY), first as chief of staff to the president of City College, then as deputy to the dean of the CUNY School of Law where he was responsible for strategic visioning and planning, performance assessment, implementation of enterprise resource planning, human resources, information technology, commencement coordination, campus expansion planning, and environmental sustainability. Prior to working at CUNY, Mr. Rogovin served as general counsel to the New York City Independent Budget Office and deputy counsel to the Queens Borough President in New York City, and as an associate at Kaye Scholer, LLP.
Mr. Rogovin has a J.D. from New York University School of Law, a B.S. in engineering and policy from Washington University in St. Louis and he completed the Management Development Program of the Institutes for Higher Education at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. He is a LEED Green Associate and Yellow-Belt-certified in Lean Six Sigma. Mr. Rogovin joined in NYMC in 2015.
