What is Alumni Reunion Weekend? Each year the College and the Alumni Association create a special weekend full of opportunities for cherished friends to reunite and share their favorite memories and proudest accomplishments. This year, members of the Honorary Classes of 1944, 1949, 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989 1994, 1999, and 2004 will be welcomed to the Alumni Reunion Weekend festivities, which will be held on May 17 and 18, 2008. They will be joined by our newest alumni, the members of the Class of 2008, on the evening of the 17th. On Saturday, May 16th, the New York Medical College Alumni Association has planned an Alumni Banquet and Awards Presentation at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. At that time the College will celebrate the anniversaries of our 50th and 25th year alumni by presenting members of the Class of 1959 with Gold Diplomas, and members of the Class of 1984 with Silver Diplomas. In addition, a Medal of Honor will be awarded to an outstanding alumnus by the Alumni Association. On Sunday, May 17th, all five-year Honorary Class members are invited to a Class Reunion Luncheon held on the College’s Valhalla campus. In addition to enjoying your classmates’ company in a more casual setting, you may take advantage of a student-led tour featuring our state-of-the-art Medical Education Center and other campus highlights throughout the afternoon.
All members of the Classes of 1944, 1949, 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, and 2004 are strongly encouraged to attend this weekend-long celebration. We also encourage you to bring your loved ones.
