New to Housing

All incoming students are responsible for the following fees:

  • A $200.00 non-refundable application fee
  • A $500.00 deposit that will be deducted from your first semester’s rent.

Students will receive an email with instructions on how to submit the application thru the portal. Applications will not be processed until the fees has been paid. Placements are made based on availability at the time of assignment for the program. Student housing applicants are not guaranteed their first preference.

Below you will find program-specific information that is subject to change yearly. Email Housing with any questions after reading the website.

  • School of Medicine (SOM) students will receive a housing application form and information from the Office of Admissions via email no later than late-May. SOM student housing is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Housing assignments and other pertinent information regarding the move-in procedures will be sent via email in mid-July.

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) students Student housing is on a first-come, first-serve basis. D.P.T. students will receive their housing assignments and other pertinent information regarding the move-in procedures via email in early May. Move-in for D.P.T. is Tuesday, May 30, 2023. 

  • Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) students will receive their housing assignments along with other important information regarding the move-in process by no later than the end of June. SLP move-in will take place the second week of August, specific times and days will be communicated to all students via email.

  • Masters of Public Health (M.P.H.) students are not guaranteed to house and will be placed on a waiting list in the event that a space becomes available. Assignments are made based on availability at the time of assignment for the program. Student housing applicants are not guaranteed their first preference.

  • Accelerated Biomedical Science students will receive a housing application form and information from the Admissions Office via email no later than mid-May. Move in for these students is late July.

  • Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBMS) M.S. and Ph.D. The GSBMS program has a limited number of on-campus spaces, and all assignments must be approved by the administration for this program. Students approved for housing will receive their housing assignments and other pertinent information regarding the move-in procedures via e-mail in July. Move-in for M.S. and Ph.D. students will take place the second week of August, specific times and days will be communicated to all students via email.
