AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Dr. Fallon is a practicing cardiovascular pathologist with primary interest in cardiac transplant and heart failure. He ran an experimental pathology lab for 30 years that studied vascular pathobiology and thrombosis. In the last 4 years, he became interested in cancer biomarkers and conducted several DNA and RNA-sequencing experiments.
The Pathology Department has research groups in toxicology, DNA repair, vascular inflammation and genomics. Our technology includes histology, immunostaining, flow cytometry, whole genome sequencing and bioinformatics. Our clinical labs include molecular testing in microbiology, virology, HLA, solid tumors, leukemia and genetic disease.
