Sari J. Kaminsky, M.D. is currently Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Metropolitan Hospital Center and Vice Chairman and Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Medical College. She obtained her M.D. Degree at SUNY-Downstate Medical School and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center/Kings County Hospital.
Dr. Kaminsky has been active as a full time clinician-teacher-service director since completion of her residency. Her career has been committed to women’s health care for under-served populations and resident/student education in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After medical school and resident training in New York these interest have taken her to clinical positions across the country including Cook County Hospital in Chicago. In addition, she has served as student clerkship director and program director in association with a number of medical schools including the University of Southern California, Albany Medical College and Chicago Medical School, where she also served as Associate Dean for Curriculum.
Dr. Kaminsky has been recognized New York Magazine and received numerous teaching awards.
