Fellowship Faculty

 Yvette Smolin, M.D.   Yvette Smolin, M.D., is Director of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Westchester Medical Center and Clinical Assistant Professor at New York Medical College. Dr. Smolin earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Skidmore College and her Master’s Degree in Community Mental Health from Northeastern University. She graduated from New Jersey Medical School and completed her residency in psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in Psycho-Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York City. She is board certified in both Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine.
 Martha Gamboa, M.D.   Martha Gamboa, M.D., is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at New York Medical College and Attending on the Consultation-Liaison and Solid Organ Transplant Services at Westchester Medical Center. She received her medical degree from La Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia and completed her Psychiatry Residency and her Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center. She is board certified in both Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine.
 Catherine Daniels, M.D.   Catherine Daniels, M.D., is Clinical Assistant Professor at New York Medical College and attending on the Consultation-Liaison service at Westchester Medical Center. She received a Bachelor’s Degree of Science, with honors, from Northwestern University, and her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her residency in psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and her fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at NYU-Langone Medical Center. Dr. Daniels is board certified in both Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. Her areas of interest include reproductive psychiatry, HIV psychiatry and palliative care.
 Hande Okan, M.D.   Hande Okan, M.D., is an attending on the Consultation-Liaison service at Westchester Medical Center. She received her medical degree from Hacettepe University, Turkey and completed her residency at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. She did her Psychosomatic Medicine/Psycho-Oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weil Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is board certified in Psychiatry. She is going to be doing Tele-Psychiatry in addition to working on the C/L team.
