Reporting directly to the Vice President of Development, the Director of Development is responsible for managing the front line fundraising staff and strategic planning to increase major, leadership annual, and planned gifts. As a key leader on the team, the Director of Development will be instrumental in working with the VP on the creation of a long term plan for increased success of the Department. S/He will also be responsible for cultivating, soliciting and closing gifts for his/her own portfolio of donors.
