Residency
To the applicants: We appreciate your interest in the Residency Training Program in the Department of Dermatology at New York Medical College. Applicants for our program must apply through the Electronic Resident Application Service (ERAS). You may obtain detailed information on how to apply by contacting your Dean’s Office (U.S. medical school students and graduates), the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS) (Canadian students and graduates), the ECFMG (graduates of foreign medical schools), or the "www.aamc.org/eras" website. November 15th is our deadline for receiving all application materials for the upcoming July 1st start date. (For example, applications received by November 15th, 2012 will be considered for positions starting the academic year beginning July 1st, 2013). Because of the large number of applicants, it is necessary for interviews to be by invitation only. Our Faculty Committee will review completed applications in December and will issue invitations in late December for a personal interview which will be held in middle of January. Each year approximately 20-30 applicants are interviewed for the two or three positions available (depending on the year). To be eligible for consideration, all applicants must have completed or be in the process of completing an internship the year that they apply. For further information about your application or the residency program please contact: Magali Cruz
