Procedural Dermatology

The residents enjoy unparalleled hands-on experience in all facets of dermatologic surgery.

The division of procedural dermatology has been completely transformed with the recruitment of our new director of dermatologic surgery, Dr. Snehal Amin. In addition to dedicating an extra clinic to surgery and significantly increasing the surgical volume, the department now has an on site Mohs technician with full Mohs micrographic surgery capabilities. Furthermore, the department has contracted with a laser vendor for monthly rentals of the latest lasers. The division now has four sub-specialty clinics which include general dermatologic surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic surgery, and laser clinic. In addition, faculty practice electives allow the opportunity for procedural experiences.
