New York Medical College offers a five year residency in orthopaedic surgery. The residency is fully accredited by the Residency Review Committee. We offer a well rounded clinical and academic experience including exposure to each of the orthopaedic subspecialties. The residency program is based out of Westchester Medical Center and is affiliated with hospitals in Manhattan, Stamford, and the Hudson River Valley. We look forward to hearing from you in your pursuit of an orthopaedic residency.

Surgery:
Orthopedic surgery or orthopedics (also spelled orthopaedic surgery and orthopaedics) is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Orthopaedic surgeons use both surgical and nonsurgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders.
