Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship
The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division affords an unparalleled scope of clinical services at the Behavioral Health Center, as well as at the division’s nearby affiliates. Services in the areas of Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry, Dual Diagnosis Adolescent Day Treatment, and Child and Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry are available. Among subspecialty programs are: Consultation Liaison Service to children and adolescents in both tertiary care and chronic illness settings, innovative Child and Adolescent Partial Day Treatment Program, multidisciplinary assessment of children with developmental disabilities, forensic evaluations for family court, as well as evaluations and treatment of children and adolescents in residential care. The didactic program, complementing the diverse clinical experience, consists of excellent teaching with clinical supervision, didactic seminars, conferences, and Grand Rounds. The program not only prepares the resident for a career in clinical psychiatry, but also offers the opportunity to train in the areas of research and academic psychiatry as well.
