Message From the Chairman

As you start this rotation I would like to tell you about the Department of Psychiatry. It is one of the largest departments in the country and we think it is one of the best. We have four comprehensive residency training programs in psychiatry, which are comprised of excellent instructional, clinical and research components. Our department utilizes six hospitals for medical student education and we send third year students to one of these outstanding sites.

Medical student education is the highest priority of this department. We take very seriously the opportunity of training you in our specialty. I believe that you will have an excellent rotation in psychiatry. I look forward to meeting you in the future.
