CIR Benefits As a resident, you are a dues-paying member of the Committee of Interns and Residents, more commonly known as the CIR and are entitled to an array of different benefits.

For residents not in the final two years of residency, a maximum reimbursement of $700 during basic residency or during the final two years of basic residency, a maximum reimbursement of $500 for that two year period plus the unused portion of the $700 conference benefit available in previous years. (This is in addition to the departmental stipend) |
