The 10th Annual Winter Eicosanoid Conference

March 9-12, 2008

Instructions for Abstract Submission/Travel Awards/Poster Awards

 

Abstracts must be submitted by individuals who wish to present posters or give short oral presentations at the 10th Annual Winter Eicosanoid Conference. Please indicate on the abstract form if you wish to be considered for a poster presentation only, an oral presentation only, or either an oral presentation or a poster presentation.

Abstracts must be typed in 12 point, Times Roman font and must be typed within the box on the abstract form below. The name(s) of the presenter(s), along with their institutional affiliations should be entered in the appropriate fields. The abstract title and authors should also be entered where indicated with the presenter’s (s’) name(s) underlined. The body of the abstract must be no more than 2500 characters in length including spaces. The data presented should be novel and not previously published. The abstracts will be placed in the conference program.

Travel awards are being offered to young investigators (junior faculty, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students) in order to encourage their participation in and attendance at the 10th Annual Winter Eicosanoid Conference. Awards will be based on scientific content and quality of submitted abstracts. Up to 20 awards in the amount of $500 each will be granted. These awards are intended to partially offset the costs of the registration fee, and travel, lodging and food expenses. Abstracts must be submitted by all individuals who wish to be considered for a travel award. If you are eligible for a travel award, please check the appropriate box on the abstract form.

The deadline for abstract submission is January 18, 2008.
