EM residents rotate to the Emergency Department of WMC for a total of 3 months in the ED during the academic program. Residents also spend one month of internal medicine, one month of CCU, one month of MICU, one month of Trauma and one month of PICU.
The Department of Emergency Medicine at WMC registers approximately 25,000 patients per year.
