Maureen Brogan, M.D, Associate Professor of Medicine New York Medical College came to Westchester Medical Center Nephrology Fellowship in 2001 after doing a fellowship at Montefiore/AECOM in the Bronx.
Initially she became involved in teaching students medical history taking. In the hospital, she worked on training staff on continuous renal replacement therapy and running quality improvement projects on clotting problems with this modality. From 2006-2017 she enjoyed being the training program director of the nephrology fellowship and member of the graduate education committee.
She continues to be the director of the ambulatory renal clinic since 2005 which has had residents and students rotate with our nephrology fellows. Her interest is passing on her enthusiasm of patient care and nephrology.
