In addition to the programs listed above, a separate calendar of workshops and presentations specifically designed for enhancing your skills and professional development is available through the College’s Center for Primary Care Education and Research (CPCER).

Upon arrival at New York Medical College new faculty are urged to contact the Health Sciences Library for an orientation of library resources and services. Health Sciences Library staff will eagerly come to your office if desired. Additionally, The Health Sciences Library offers regular instruction on a variety of databases and resources, ranging from PubMed to EndNote and Reference Manager. A list of class dates and times can be accessed at: http://library.nymc.edu/Information/class.cfm . If the dates and times listed are not convenient, personal consultations can also be scheduled by calling the Reference Desk at 914-594-4210 or email at hsl_nymc@nymc.edu . Also, librarians are available for subject-specific class instruction as well.
