She completed her post-doctoral training in clinical medical ethics at the University of Chicago (2000). She is also a Registered Nurse with nearly twenty years of clinical experience. Dr. Jansen is a Senior Medical Ethicist at The John J. Conley Department of Ethics at St. Vincent’s Manhattan, and is a member of the Ethics Committee at the NY Foundling Hospital in New York City. She has published articles on medical ethics and research ethics. She is the assistant editor for Theoretical Medicine & Bioethics.
