Patient Care Services:
Division of Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery

Cerebrovascular disorders including aneurysms, vascular malformations, and ischemic vascular diseases are managed by a comprehensive team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, and endovascular interventional neuroradiologists.
Pre-operative 3-D modeling is combined with an intra-operative real time image guidance system to optimize outcome in these procedures.
Endovascular suites to treat complex cerebrovascular lesions exist at Westchester Medical Center, which is a nationally accredited stroke center.
A fully equipped neuroscience intensive care unit with 10 beds and four stroke unit beds is present at Westchester Medical Center. Endovascular facilities for intra-arterial thrombolysis and coiling of aneurysms are available 24 hours a day.
