"Cardiac Memory: Mechanisms and Implications"

The Center for Molecular Therapeutics is dedicated to developing strategies, drugs and devices for delivery of health care. Its mission is summarized in two words: discovery and application. Dr. Rosen’s primary focus has been the study of determinants of the plasticity of cardiac electrical function and their relationship to memory. By studying early changes in signaling and electrophysiology, his group is developing novel approaches to predicting risk, as well as addressing the prevention and alteration of cardiac arrhythmias and contractile dysfunction.
