Peer Tutoring

Peer tutoring pilot program: Peer-to-peer support for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year School of Medicine curriculum. School of Medicine course curriculum. Upon signing up at Student Affairs or online, medical students will receive a list of approved peer tutors for the specific course(s) in which help is requested. The medical student will contact a tutor to schedule an appointment, and may use no more than 2 hours of tutoring per week. Tutors will always be at least one year ahead of the tutee, and are paid an hourly rate by NYMC Student Affairs for their services.
