Visiting Campus

New York Medical College welcomes visitors to its suburban Valhalla, New York campus year-round, although most prospective students coordinate their visits with the office of admissions in the school to which they intend to apply. In this way, the university has an opportunity to prepare requested information and materials.

The university shares its campus with one of its two academic medical center partners, Westchester County Medical Center. The other academic medical center partner, Saint Vincents Hospital and Medical Center, is in New York City where the university maintains a vigorous presence at several hospitals through patient care, teaching and research activities. The term clinical campus is frequently used in reference to the university’s extensive network of affiliates located in three states, New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. These affiliates enable New York Medical College to offer its students one of the broadest learning environments in the nation.

Visitor Information

Visitors to the campus are asked to check in at the Security Office upon arrival. The office is located at the entrance to the Basic Sciences Building. A security officer will advise you where to park your vehicle and will register you for the day. Campus maps are available at this office. The Security Office telephone number is 914/594-4226.
