Hello Fellow Students!

We hope studying for your upcoming exams is going well. Our Take-A-Break on November 3rd turned out great, and it was wonderful seeing all of you who stopped by! Another event that went well in the not too distant past was the Race for Rehab. We were so glad to see fellow students supporting a great cause, and we were able to donate $115! In the upcoming future, we will be having the networking night on November 21 at Copper Face Jacks in White Plains from 9PM-12AM, so come meet your fellow students outside of school. Food and beverages will be provided.

Looking towards next semester, we have two major events in our books. As you all know, the GSRF is coming up March 15, 2016. The abstract form for those looking to participate in the forum will be coming out in the upcoming months. Earlier in 2016, we are planning on having a ski trip to look forward to for the weekend of January 15th. We are hoping to set up this fun event for GSBMS students in the tristate area. If anyone has any ideas or would like to help with planning, feel free to contact Joey (our vice president!)

As always, if you have any suggestions or concerns that the GSA can help with, feel free to contact any of the GSA officers! Also, if you have any comments or concerns about the parking situation, please contact us and we will help to the best of our abilities! Good luck with exams!

Hello Fellow Students!

Now that the school year has kicked into full gear and most of us have already had our first (or first few) exams, it's time to look forward to upcoming GSA events. As you may know, the Graduate Student Research Forum (GSRF) is coming up in about 5 months on March 15, 2016. In the upcoming months, our GSRF Chair and Vice Chair, Yeabsra Aleligne and Aaron Conway, will be collecting abstracts of those wishing to present at the Forum.

In terms events in the nearer future, there will be a Take-A-Break on November 3 from 2:00-3:30PM, so come meet fellow graduate students as you prep for upcoming exams! We will have snacks and beverages laid out at the red couches to help lower those high stress levels. After you finish cramming for your exams, there is a student networking night at Copper Face Jacks in White Plains on November 21 from 9:00PM-12:00AM to celebrate. Food and beverages will be provided!

As always, if you have any suggestions or concerns that the GSA can help with, feel free to contact any of the GSA officers!
