April 18, 2012 - The 24th Annual Graduate Student Research Forum was held in the Nevin Auditorium in the MEC. The annual, daylong event is sponsored by the Graduate Student Association. The Forum involves oral and poster presentations of student-conducted research, which provides students with an opportunity to present their research to colleagues, faculty and staff of New York Medical College, and the scientific community in the tri-state area. This year's keynote speaker was Stephen F. Vatner, M.D., Professor of Cell Biology and Molecular Medicine, Director, Cardiovascular Research Center UMDNJ, School of Medicine. The keynote address was entitled: "From Free Ranging Giraffes in Africa to Disruption of Adenylyl Cyclase Type 5 in Mice."
