Bayer is currently running six clinical trials focusing on improving the outcomes for transplantation in acute myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, multiple myeloma, non-Hodgkins lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. In her clinical practice and research, Bayer is uplifted by the resilience of the human spirit that she sees in her patients, and by the strength and compassion of her transplant team. “In my lifetime we will continue to see major advances in the field of transplantation,” she vows.
