Student Research

Students at New York Medical College are encouraged to participate in research activities to help develop scientific writing, critical analysis and presentation skills.

At New York Medical College, students have long been encouraged to engage in research competition to hone their skills and make a regular practice of clinical investigation.

The annual Medical Student Research Forum and the Graduate Student Research Forum offer students an opportunity to discuss their clinical and basic science research projects, with awards for oral and poster presentations. Students in the School of Health Sciences and Practice display their research findings at a poster session during National Public Health Week held each spring.
