Physical Therapy Program Policies
For Physical Therapy the tuition and fees are due on June 1st.
It is mandatory for all Physical Therapy students to have health insurance. If purchased through NYMC, every student will be billed for the individual insurance with one half being billed in June and the remaining half due in December (BC/BS Notice of Election form). The college maintains a student group contract with Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Greater New York. Click here to link to the Blue Cross web site.
Any student not wishing to be enrolled in this plan must have the waiver which is sent to all students signed and returned to the Bursar’s Office. A Photostat copy of their insurance card must be attached.
Any student not providing the Bursar’s office with the appropriate waiver will automatically be enrolled, without further notice.
Please note upperclassman must provide this documentation yearly.

Your tuition must be paid by the due date. You can your balance with a check. The check must be made payable to New York Medical College.
If you have applied for Financial Aid to cover your tuition costs, we should receive your money prior to the due date. If you also applied for money for living expenses you will receive a refund check after your tuition and insurance costs have been satisfied.
