Are you receiving a diploma or certificate? Please read the important graduation information below

Apply for Diploma:

If you plan to complete your degree requirements by the end of the spring term, check back in the fall for instructions on how to apply for May 2016 graduation.

New York Medical College holds its formal graduation (“commencement”) ceremony once a year, in May.  Diplomas are awarded at the same time.  The 2016 ceremony will be held at Carnegie Hall on Monday May 23, 2016 at 5 p.m.  When you apply for graduation, you will be asked to indicate whether you plan to attend the ceremony.


Apply for Certificate:

Certificates are offered through the School of Health Sciences & Practice.  Certificates are awarded the term following the completion of all course requirements as follows:

Coursework Completed at the end of

Issuance of Certificate







Once you have completed all required coursework, please complete the Certificate Issuance Request Form and return it to the Office of Admissions in order to be awarded your certificate (no fee required).

Required Application:

Download the Certificate Issuance Request Form and mail or e-mail it to:

Please note: MPH students who wish to add a certificate to their academic program should submit an Application for Admission to Certificate Program to the Admissions Office at least one semester before graduation.
