Course Description:

A course covering the molecular aspects of microbial pathogenicity. The pathogenic properties of bacteria and other microorganisms will be discussed. Special emphasis will be given to the molecular and genetic aspects that are relevant to the epidemiology of infectious diseases.

Prerequisites: MCRM 1010 or MCRM 1410

Lectures: 2 hrs/wk. Letter-graded.
