Administrator, Center for Disaster Medicine

Joined New York Medical College in June of 2018 to provide administrative support and coordinate the daily operations of the Center for Disaster Medicine. She works closely with the director on budgeting and reporting as well as reconciles monthly expenses and grant purchases. Mrs. Pagano also organizes all activities for training programs including obtaining continuing education credits for the participants. In addition, she manages the Center’s social media platforms.

Before joining the CDM, Dana worked as a project coordinator for the Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs Department at Montefiore Medical Center. In her tenure there, she collaborated with the manager of quality improvement to develop an electronic platform to warrant the evaluation process of physician quality outcomes as required by The Joint Commission. She also established and maintained critical data for the cardiopulmonary arrest committee and worked closely with the vice president of medical affairs to respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies (OPMC, TJC, NYSDOH, CMS).

Mrs. Pagano holds a B.S. in criminal justice from Pace University and is currently pursuing her M.P.H. in behavioral sciences and health promotion at New York Medical College School of Health Sciences and Practice.
