Pre-Health Mentoring Program

8.3.22 JMNew York Medical College, one of the largest and most well-respected health sciences universities in the country is hosting an informative series of talks and workshops on the process of applying to medical, clinical, research and professional graduate degree programs.

This FREE event is a special opportunity for college students and pre-health advisors to meet with and have questions answered by our knowledgeable faculty, students, alumni and staff. Attendees will leave the event with a clear understanding of applying to health-related graduate programs as well as glean insights into the various career fields and opportunities that exist in health care today.

Who should attend?

  • Students: We welcome the attendance of all college students interested in a graduate education in the medical and health related fields. We are especially interested in attendees from historically under-represented groups as we are deeply invested in supporting the next generation of health care practitioners from all backgrounds.
  • Pre-health advisors: Faculty and staff who mentor or advise undergraduate/graduate students interested in applying to medical and health profession graduate programs should attend. We encourage you to bring interested students. A special session will be available for them to meet with admissions committee members.

This event is held annually in September, and is free for all attendees.
