On the Valhalla Campus, window air conditioners are not permitted. Air conditioner sleeves are provided in order to allow occupants to install their own unit. In the garden style buildings, air conditioners must be 220 volts; in the suite-style buildings, units must be 115 volts. The air conditioner must be designed to properly fit in the sleeve and may not extend out the back. The sleeve sizes are:
G1 buildings:
16”high x 27 ½” wide x 15 ½” deep
G2 buildings:
16 ½” high x 26” wide x 16 7/8” deep
The recommended BTU for each room is:
Living Room 10,500 BTU
Bedroom 6,500 BTU
