Music and Medicine 2015

It was standing room only in Nevins Auditorium for the lunchtime presentation and performance of "Beethoven: Deafness and Creativity" on November 23. Stephen Moshman, M.D., professor of clinical medicine and conductor of the Albert Einstein Symphony Orchestra, presented the effects of Beethoven's deafness and medical history on his works throughout his career with interludes of Beethoven's music performed by a string quartet from the Manhattan School of Music.
