Be sure to stop by the Chancellor's latest exhibit, presenting items of interest on the history of medicine and science displayed on the wall between Doc's Café and the bookstore in the Basic Sciences Building. The current exhibit features Lt. Col. John McCrae, M.D. (1872 – 1918), on first day covers. A first day cover is an envelope or card bearing a stamp which is cancelled on the first day the stamp is on sale. Dr. McCrae was a Canadian poet, physician, author, artist and soldier during World War I and is best known for penning the poem In Flanders Fields. Stop by the exhibit to learn more about Dr. McCrae.  InTouch 6-26-17
