The NYMC community showed their true colors at the American Heart Association's Westchester County Heart Walk at the Kensico Dam in Valhalla, N.Y., on October 1. They raised more than $4,500 to fight heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases. The event was kicked off by Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) students leading the crowd in a dynamic warm-up before embarking on the three-mile walk around the plaza. D.P.T. students also offered blood pressure monitoring and posture screenings throughout the day. View the 2017 Westchester County Heart Walk photo gallery here.
