New York State Senator Terrence P. Murphy, second from left, invited Empire State Development (ESD) President, Chief Executive Officer and Commissioner Howard Zemsky, third from left, for a visit at BioInc@NYMC on February 27. Mr. Zemsky was appointed by Governor Cuomo to lead New York State's economic development program, including a newly announced $650 million life sciences initiative. BioInc@ NYMC has received priority designation and funding in earlier budget cycles in concert with federal, county, and private support. Joining the visit clockwise from left were: Robert W.
