The special seminar discussed the process of turning research discoveries into actual therapeutics and how to achieve this as a scientist. Key features of the presentation included an overview of how to position a biotech startup for success and the pros and cons of pursuing an M.B.A. degree. Sapience Therapeutics, a BioInc@NYMC client, is focused on discovering and developing peptide-based therapeutics for major unmet medical needs, specifically high-mortality cancers.
