Myrianne Dure          Myrianne Dure – M.P.H. Class of 2016
I completed my practicum project at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., in Tarrytown, NY.  I developed a systematic review protocol for Pediatric Atopic Dermatitis patients-reported measures in the Health Economics and Outcomes Research Department.
     
‌‌Heather Fay     Heather Fay – M.P.H. Class of 2016
My practicum project was completed in partnership with the California Department of Public Health Immunization Branch, Division of Communicable Disease Control and The U.S. Department of Defense in San Diego . I developed a survey of military families concerning access and portability of vaccine registries.
     
Semsa Gogcu   Dr. Semsa Gogcu – M.P.H. Class of 2016
My practicum project was completed at the Regional Perinatal Center at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. I designed a study to look at the effect of the level of birth hospitals on long term neurodevelopmental outcomes of very low birth weight (VLBW) infants born at Lower Hudson Valley hospitals. 
     
‌‌Drew Lidster   Drew Lidster – M.P.H. Class of 2016
My practicum project was completed in partnership with the City of Danbury, Connecticut Department of Health and Human Services.  I analyzed foodborne illness trends from temporary food events held during 2012-2014 and compared the incidence rates from the summer months to the rest of the year.
     
‌‌Ingrid Maurice   Ingrid R. Maurice – M.P.H. Class of 2016
My practicum project was completed at the New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene (NYCDOHMH) Office of Emergency Preparedness & Response (OEPR). I completed a literature search focused on preparedness for community-level public health response to chemical incidents.
     
Marco Naguib   Marco Naguib – M.P.H. Class of 2016
My practicum took place at Northern Westchester Hospital in conjunction with the Ken Hamilton Caregivers Center. The purpose was to design a survey that is able to identify the stress factors for  caregivers who care for cancer patients. The results of the survey will be utilized to develop a training program for caregivers. 
     
Janki Parekh   Janki Parekh – M.P.H. Class of 2016
My practicum project was completed at the Children’s Environmental Health Center of the Hudson Valley. I developed a survey to assess the socio-cultural food beliefs of families who have children with asthma. 
     
Crystal Treat   Crystal Treat – M.P.H. Class of 2016
My practicum project was completed with the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, a non-profit providing Westchester County with low-cost mental health services.  I focused on how psychotherapy benefits Depressive Disorders and created recommendations for outreach to high risk individuals suffering from depression.
     
Shana Warner   Shana Warner – M.P.H. Class of 2016
My practicum project was completed with the Department of Environmental Health Science in collaboration with UMDNJ, Rutgers University CounterACT Research Center of Excellence. I explored the public health implications of nitrogen mustard and the potential risk for development of neurodegenerative disease.
     
Vilma Bordonaro   Vilma E. Bordonaro – M.P.H. Class of 2017
My practicum project was completed at  Hudson River Health Care, Peekskill, NY in collaboration with the Area Health Education Center. I developed resource guides and a pamphlet about sugar and its effects on health for 9th-11th graders. I provided educational information to students regarding health promotion and careers in medicine and public health.
