Carrie Cody

Carrie Cody oversees digital communications, leading initiatives to strengthen the College’s online presence and advance institutional priorities through compelling digital content and strategic outreach. A seasoned communications professional, Cody has extensive experience shaping digital strategy, storytelling, and engaging audiences across mission-driven and public sector organizations.

Prior to joining NYMC, she led communications for a New York State public authority, where she developed content and digital campaigns aligned with statewide energy priorities, advanced organizational visibility, and provided counsel to senior leadership on public engagement initiatives. 

Cody began her career working at the New York State Senate, supporting legislative communications and community outreach efforts that connected constituents with key state programs and policies, and volunteering with political campaigns across the state.

Education

B.A. in history with a minor in English from Southern Illinois University.
