How to Apply

AMCAS Primary Application

NYMC is a member of the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS). To be considered, applicants must file their primary AMCAS application between June 1 and December 15 prior to the year of entry. For more information, email AMCAS

NYMC Supplemental Application

All applicants receive an NYMC Supplemental Application upon submission of their primary application to AMCAS.  Access to the NYMC Supplemental Application is sent to applicants via email from WebAdmit for AMCAS.  Please be sure your email account is set up to accept emails from donotreply@webadmit.org

There is a non-refundable $135 NYMC application fee which can be paid either electronically with a credit card or by check or money order.  NYMC waives this application fee for applicants approved for the AAMC-sponsored Fee Assistance Program (FAP).

Important Note

Individuals who are currently enrolled in any medical school or have previously withdrawn or been dismissed from any medical school for any reason are ineligible to apply to the NYMC School of Medicine.
