Daniel Charen, M.D., FAAOS, FAANA, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and shoulder. His focus is on both the non-operative and surgical treatment of shoulder, knee, and elbow conditions, and he provides a personalized approach to getting patients back to their active lifestyles. His expertise in sports medicine allows him to perform surgery using minimally invasive techniques, but he also has the skillset of using open approaches when necessary.
In addition to providing care for student athletes of Pascack Valley High School and North Rockland High School, he has traveled to Europe and South America caring for the professional athletes of the United States Ski Team. His research on college athlete injuries has appeared in numerous publications, presentations, and media outlets.
